I seem to remember someone posting pics of a SPM version of KITT they
converted from an Ertl anyone else know what Im talking aboot?

I believe the one you're talking about was of the 1/24 scale plastic Ertl model, not the 1/18 die-cast one. But I'm waiting for the day someone makes a Super Pursuit Mode model out of the 1/18th version. I'm sure sooner or later someone will do it.

Yeah, to the best of my knowledge no-one has done 1:18 SPM, however there are plastic kit SPM models created by some very talented people. Think Josch who posts on here was doing one.
I have plans to do a 1:18 SPM, but as its not going to be easy i've not had the time to work out the design for it. Too busy working on other projects at the moment.

Here's an SPM model I made a few years' back out of the MPC KITT Model. Not the best, but I dont build models that often.

Nice job on that SPM version, Joe! For not building models too often, you did a fantastic job on it.
I am not thinking of doing an SPM KITT though. I'm not sure. Looks quite complicated.
