Watched American Pie 3/American Wedding on TV the other day.

When Stifler's on his flower mission, he's driving a car. Although it's night time, I could definitely tell it was a T/A. But don't know which year ti was from.

Looked like KITT from the side. But it didn't have the same headlights - looked more like the one from Smokey & the bandit.

Anyone see it? Recognise it?

I watched the movie and can confirm that Stiffler rode a black 1980 or 1981 model Trans Am. It definitely isn't a 1982 and above model.

Yep, definately not a 3rd Generation Trans Am, it was similar, maybe exactly like the Smokey and the Bandit Trans Am

Nope, the car they used in AP3 was a newer 2nd generation Trans Am, probably a 1980-81 model. The car used in Smokey and the Bandit was a late 70's one if I remember correctly.

How about the one used in Smokey and the Bandit 2?

That was made in 1980

I can't comment on Smokey and the Bandit 2 because I haven't watched it yet. I've read somewhere that in part 3 they used a 1982-84 Trans Am.
