I made this cardboard dash when I was about 10. A panel underneath the monitor slides open to reveal SPM and EBS. The Normal-Auto-Pursuit indicators underneath KITT's voice modulator can also change:

Other than the fact you did an fantastic job (age 10)- it has always been a question (well, with me for sure) - where was the location of the SPM and EBS buttons.... How did you nab this info? Slow playback of a certain episode?
