how is it kitt can microjam trunk locks, open handcuffs, open locked doors, but when it comes to being lifted up in the air, he cant activate a switch to lower a hydrolic jack, or unlock a simple lock on a paint booth door

if you watch "buyout" you will see what i mean, he jamms the trunk lock on the caddy, opens the door lock on that room where the limo door is, but then cant open the door where michael gets locked into the heat chamber/paint booth, and then is totally immobilized by that hydrolic jack.


makes no sense.

also another thing that i dont get about that episode.. when they are examining the door that the missle hit, michael puts the comlink up to the door and kitt scanns it and has an anaylisis right away, however later on the limo michael is driving, kitt starts scanning it a few minutes before michael starts driving it and then doesnt get the anaylisis until right before the missle launch, i know its probably done for dramatics, but it seems a bit unrealistic that it would take him that long

i see your point and agree about the locks and such. i myself notice many conflicts in almost every episode but you have to remember that this is just a tv show and almost everything about the show is unrealistic.
