I was just watching Merchants of Death and something fishy had struck my eyes. In the scene where we can see that super-advanced combat helicopter shooting at Kitt and Michael, we can see those blinking lights and consoles that were Bonnie's diagnostic equipment in Junk Yard Dog. I remember that such things occured during the series, not to mention that the Dodge Daytona had Kitt's LED gauges (without labels) in the 1986 movie Black Moon Rising. The biggest re-used prop in Knight Rider was I think the dismounted Season 1 Kitt in Junk Yard Dog where we can see the old dashboard on Kitt who is being adjusted by Bonnie and Michael. Funny, isn't it? It's like in Star Trek where a blinking thingy is one day a dermal regenerator, the other day a warp field scanner and so on...

some of the gadgets used to rebuild kitt in JYD are used as the doomsday device in sky knight


and some im not 100% positive of, i think that the woman's red thunderbird in Season 4's Knight racer may have been one of the drones in Knight of the Drones.

speaking of KOTD, it wouldnt suprise me in the least (although you cant tell) that the wrecked kitt up on its left side after the drone blew him up was none other than the same car destroyed by goliath in season 2..

i noticed a lot in the episode with the blind girl in season 2 that you see a vw bug with a purple stripe always around the place it is basically everywhere they go.

We also had a discussion a while back about the BPP (Big Potted Plant) that was reused in a few of the first season episodes.

And dont forget the Red 1970 Camaro that is all over the first season.....

The security hand scan device Devon uses in "Knight of the Drones, Part 1" turns up as the virtual reality gaming device in "Knight Rider 2010". And I remember hearing someone state that one of the pieces of Robocop's equipment in one of the "RoboCop" films is from "Knight Rider". I can't remember who said that or which film.

It was another TV movie, which didn't have any real relation to the original show, except the name and the idea of a talking car. It had that chick who played Callisto from "Xena: Warrior Princess" in it.

Depends on your defination of "good". To me, its okay in a campy sort of way. I know a few here hate it.

That gizmo that Bonnie used in "Many Happy Returns", and the diagnostic equipment were used in the V mini-series as well. The diagnostic equipment was the nuclear detonator computer in the Mother ship, and the gizmo with the rotating monitor was the advanced decoder used to try to stop the self-destruct. The monitor face also appeared on KITT's monitor in one or two other episodes, though right now I can't think of the episode titles.
