Car navigation systems are now offering custom voices such as Mr. T giving you driving directions: ""Hey, Fool! Turn right in 500 feet!" Burt Reynolds and Dennis Hopper are also available. More voice are on the way. Can anybody think of a good voice for a car? Hmmmm....
Here's an article about the systems:

I'd like the voice of Brent Spinner (Data on Star Trek TNG) to guide me as I drive. Such a cool and unassuming voice (similar to William Daniels?) would surely be a welcome companion. Mr. T? Some passengers specially children may not be suitable for his kind of language.

That's a good idea, HondaSiR. He was somewhat similar to K.I.T.T. in the fact that he was an android that had to live amongst humans without ever actually knowing what it's like to be human. Not that I was ever really a fan of Star Trek, but he is an excellent and underrated actor.

I would love it if William Daniels did it but I doubt that will happen. Still...
