Anyone here think that Michael could have had a better wrist watch? This looks like the ugliest watch ever.

Kitt also responded to the alligator in Knight in disgrace and dogs from Ring of fire.

I like it! I'd ask how I can get one, but I suspect no-one knows. If this was the Ghostbusters board, there'd be, like, a dozen different sets of plans on how to build one!!!

Michael Knight's watch is ugly when compared to watches of today. Perhaps back in the early 80's it could have turned heads but today....no way.

Check out Jackie Chan's watch in his movie The Tuxedo. Now that one really was a looker.

I wouldn't call it 'ugly', but it's definately a product of its time. :?

I've never figured out why a comlink wasn't issued to all of FLAG. You'd think it would be easier...

Since Michael was the one who primarily operated K.I.T.T., he was the only one that needed one. Bonnie and April were always stationed at the semi or the estate, and had the equipment to contact Michael already.

It's funny, though, because we never really saw anyone issue Michael with the comlink. In "Knight Of the Phoenix" his watch is a regular chrome watch for the beginning part of the episode, then magically turns into the comlink later on.

I HAVE looked...they are not around.
Today they could make it with a chip that, when you pressed the button, it would say "Right Away, Michael."

It's a digital watch with a built-in AM radio! I had a watch that looked very similar to that, though not exactly like it. It wasn't supposed to be a Knight Rider prop; it was just a digital watch with an AM radio. Come to think of it, I got it around the summer of 1982, right before Knight Rider first aired. It came with a pair of headphones that plugged into the side of the watch, which turned on the radio, and the little dial changed stations. I may still have that watch somewhere around, but I have no idea if it still works or not.
