Would anyone be interested in doing KR RPG's?
I mean we need to keep the fandom of this show alive I'm open to starting up an RPG. ^_^
I actually had an idea for KITT's Girlfriend.
A Hot pink 1967 Dodge Charger with a 351 Blower on it.
I named her "Kristen"

KITT already had a girlfriend once - It was Kate I think.

Hello. I started one two years ago just because I had extra time on my hands and wanted to play around with some HTML. I called it Carnage and you smart people should be able to figure out why on your own

Never really thought I would open it, though. It is kind of strange, role playing the best TV show in the entire world. I guess that is why I didn't open it. Anyway, I am rambling. The plot needs some work, and the front page is rather ugly, but feel free to look around:

And I accepted! You should be getting your password soon via e-mail. I am working on multi boards right now. But of course Avid Gamers hates me so it is not working.

I have a question: What's an RPG? Does it have to do with the Internet?

RPG stands for Role Playing Game. On an RPG you post (just like here) only it is more like writing fan fiction because you are "in character" and very descriptive. For example,
"Bob walked into the room, his clear green eyes drifting over the creepy, sheet covered furniture that filled the room. His eyes watered from all the dust, and it was all he could do not to sneeze".
But you are not the only person there. A lot of people get together to write one story, and you never know what is going to happen. So maybe someone else will come along and post,
"Joe was sitting in the corner of the room, drawing a smiley face in the thick layer of dust that covered the floor with tip of his finger. He looked up as Bob walked into the room and smiled to himself."
It is... interesting. Some people think it is child-ish and a waste of time. But I like it. And once again I don't know if I want to make my Knight Rider RPG available to the public because role playing something as amazing as Knight Rider is just... awkward.

And yes it is on the Internet.

RPG also stands for Rocket Propelled Grenade.
But that is something else entirely.

Now that is funny Fantine!
And I look forward to role playing with you, robert_rumery.

So that's what role playing is all about. That's kind of interesting. I've seen it many times on the internet but was never quiet sure how it worked. Sounds fun.

I used to be GM (Game Master) of a few RPGs on GEnie (an online service that went under in the mid 90s). Now I do fanfic when I have time.

I was thinking of starting a KR RPG at one point. But haven't really had time to GM one.
Maybe some day...

Haha I see that faraway dreamy look in your eyes FuzzieDice
And your welcome to help with mine! A coadmin would be veeeery helpful.

Damn those tell-tale smiley faces! You'd think neps would have upgraded them to be less technologically advanced.

(j/k neps, if you're reading this.

)
I would help with your RPG if I had time, but I don't. Plus, no offence, but my KR ones would be more for those over 21. I mean legal wise. Otherwise any age that could handle the topics and language would be welcome. But I would have to be on legal grounds, unfortunately. This is why I put warnings and ratings on my fanfic as well.
Right now, besides work, I maintain 3 of my own sites, am planning a 4th, and created and maintain the
Knight Rider Crossings site which gets more frequent updates.
I also have a near-classic car that needs restoring and babying, and several model kits. On top of that, tomorrow is "networking day" for me. I got a second computer so I'm going to network them together tomorrow after I get a package from someone I know that gave me some old parts that will work in the machine I was given by someone ELSE and refurbished.
IOW, yeah, I'm quite busy.
But like I said... some day....

I understand completely
And I do have an age warning as the very first rule on the rules page. Mature teens and adults (I would rather just do adults, but that would be excluding myself!) and all members have to tell me their real age when they sign up.
The first version was kind of too serious. Would have made a good fan fic, but not an rpg, so I had to lower my standards a bit and ditch the cool layout which was really... erm... rated M?
* I was just reading your fanfic site. I never heard of a Smallville/KR crossover before! You've got some really great stuff there.

Well, "mature teen" is actually 17 or 18 and 19 yr. olds, so you're not quite even there yet. I mean on the 'legal' grounds.
How you do your site is up to you, just be careful to rate the stuff so that people can have no doubt as to what the content is, and keep the content within your own age group, for best protection.

Haha you’ve never met me, FuzzieDice. Everyone I meet thinks I am 18. And I don’t write like a kid either, unless it is on here

The Knight Rider Crossings site isn't mine. It's EdwardKnight2005's site. I just made it for him and post his stories as he writes them.
As for your age, you can get yourself in trouble with the law or other authorities for creating/reading/obtaining information that the law determines is not suitable for people your age, no matter how mentally mature you may be. They don't go by that, they go by your actual age.
Also, if you read or access things that are not suitable for your age and someone notices (there's ways people can tell remotely where you visit, and trace your surfing habits back to you), the site owner could get arrested or jailed if they don't make some attempt to steer kids away from adult material. That's why people put ratings on things, to hopefully protect and warn those away from going where they legally shouldn't.
To be safe and keep your friends safe, please heed the warnings! Don't read what isn't rated for your age group. You're not anonymous on the web (see
http://www.anonymizer.com/media/faq.shtml if you think your surfing IS).
I just don't want you or anyone else in trouble, is all. I may be paranoid but I hear enough baloney of people losing computers and going to jail over the stupidest things. I don't want to find out if those rumors are true or not! Trust me.

*cough* paranoid *cough* Ahhh but we love you FuzzieDice, so I guess we don't have a choice but to obey the ratings.

The air smelt sweet and clean, it filled the lone man with memories of a time long past, a time before all the death and destruction had started"
