Villains you'd like to see more often

Knight rider had a new villain each episode- well, almost. They had different personalities- some sneaky, some revengeful, some sadistic, some just trying to get a few kicks and some who just wanted a little cash a little too badly. There are a few villains you'd like to see more often. Here's my own list.

SEASON 1:
  1. The group from Deadly Maneuvers- They could plan things out quite well, and would stop at nothing
  2. One of the bikers from Good Day...- Just for irritation
  3. One of the promoters from Slammin Sammy...- A bit overdone, but worth it, instead of using a different lot each time.
  4. Kincaid- A warlord, to make things tough for FLAG and give Michael and KITT more tough missions
  5. Deauville- Maybe not......
  6. But not KARR- KARR is too heavy a concept to reuse, and that was proven in his comeback episode
SEASON 2:
  • The group from Knightmares- Good infiltration act
  • Mr. Stone- Exclusively for the way Lance LeGault rendered the role
  • The RJ from White Line Warriors- Spinning more music, not necessarily for the godo of society
  • The young criminals from Race for Life- They trap Michael Knight again, but a burly truckdriver attacks them and saves Michael
  • Wade Fontaine- Still has a bone to pick with Michael
  • Cameron Zachary- One villain we'd like to see over and over again
  • Eldon Matthews- Why not?
  • But NOT Garthe Knight- he too got one episode too many
SEASON 3:
  • Dr. David Halston- Now he's got a personality, that we'd like to see more often. Mad scientist using robots to fight KITT and Michael
  • Dagger DX- looking forward to another battle on the road
  • Boyd LaSalle- Again, due to the acting and the kind of character he was
  • Paul Renard- We'd find out a little more about his associates....
  • Gordon Baxter a.k.a. Chameleon- The man of many faces deserves more episodes
  • The pair from Buy Out- More rocket attacks
SEASON 4:
  • Zurich- who knows what he'll hijack
  • Vascone- Only for the acting
  • Marco Berio- He's still hungry for revenge....
  • Austin Templeton- More tricks to play on KITT's sensors.
  • The fuzzy-headed character from Thousand Devils- Again, for Henri Darrow's acting
Its' a rather difficult list to put together, since most villains looked, acted and talked like each other. Not too many stand out, but there are a few which we'd like to see more often. That can't be said of Garthe or KARR, since both were designed to be mere one-offs.

I don't have too many suggestions on this topic, but how about the crooks that Michael and KITT were more easily able to defeat?
Just a thought.....

I always thought that 'KR' would've been better if the some of the villians (besides Garthe and KARR) showed up more then once to flesh them out, or if they had some kind of relationship to each other. The episodes where they dove into the past of the members of FLAG were some of the best ones in my opinion, so why not the villans? I'm not talking about 'Buffy'-like season-spanning storylines, but a few familar evil faces would 've been nice. Continuity is a TV show's very best friend.

For example, Tanya Walker had a boyfriend/'signifigant other' who went after Michael (since he thought Micheal had killed her, while she actually sorta killed herself) in 'A Good Knight's Work'.

(POINTLESS SIDE NOTE: Tanya actually survives in the novel based on 'Knight Of The Phoenix'. It's interesting to read and point out what doesn't mesh with later episodes, or even the televised pilot. 'KR' probably would've been a VERY different show if Michael was suicidal and FLAG was based in Nevada.)

I'm just curious, but did any villians show up more then once? (Obviously excluding Garthe and KARR.)

Don Galloway didn't play a villain, did he? he was Bonnie's mentor, who was duped into revealing top secrets at that health spa- what was the name of the villainess Ann Turkel played again?) How about Harana- the voodoo princess? (Don't kill me.)

KARR. I think they should have done more with him.

If you've seen nearly every episode of Magnum PI, episodes link across seasons, with old villains returning later or even Magnum's clients going bad. Why can't they have the same in KR?
Tanya Walker had a boyfriend/'signifigant other' who went after Michael
That was Cameron Zachary, a blast from the past and yet another well-rendered role.

Maybe because they'd like to do something different to keep the shows different from each other, somehow. I like KR plots. And there was one or two episodes where the client actually was bad. The Season One episode with the video game designer who called FLAG to help find who stole his programs, and Brother's Keeper, where the one guy who was arranging to have the other one taken out of jail to trade him for a bomb location.

So they did touch on the "bad client" thing, at least, a little.

I think Karr should have made way more appearances than only two. KITT vs KARR is a classic battle, they should have had KARR in a lot more episodes.

What do you think of Garthe and KARR coming together, only for Michael and KITT to find that they were clones?

I think that's a great idea
