My old MPC KITT Model!

I don't believe what I found when browsing through my old photos in my computer! This is a scanned photo so please forgive the quality.
Old MPC KITT Model
Look on top of the TV set in the upper left! I know it has silver chrome hubcaps as I don't think I painted them on the model. I can't believe it! I don't think it's another T/A model I had, I'm pretty sure it's KITT, before I got rid of my model kits in the late 90s.
Amazing what you find when you dig into your photo archives for other projects.

I see you've also got a relative of the "Big Potted Plant" nearby.

Lost Knight: Oh SH---! You're right!

I didn't even realize it!
See, the BPP keeps sneaking in places you never expect. I bet he's just following KITT around.

Haha! I was thinking the same thing when I saw that picture.

Related to your find, Fuzzie, I found the box that my original MPG KITT came in with some bits and pieces that werent built into the car. The car itself is loooong gone.
I do have the new released models to hopefully work on when I have more time and patience for such intricate work, hehe.

Hey, at least save that box.

The MPC one I had was actually from the 80s. I think it was the original issue.

I have the original box issue with the Corvette promo label, bought the kit from ebay two years ago for a whopping $9.95! It wasn't sealed but the parts inside are complete....guess I got lucky. Haven't built it yet, I plan to buy the AMT/ERTL reissue kit so that I can use its clear plastic parts instead of the MPC's tinted ones.

It was no doubt that cheap because it wasn't sealed. I was able to purchase the Voice Car a few years ago for $43.00, but that was because it had no Michael Knight figure (I already had one anyway from my old car), a missing battery cover, and a very minor scratch on the roof. It didn't matter to me, though. It's still, in my opinion, the best Knight Rider toy ever.

Ditto to that Lost Knight! The Talking Kenner KITT still remains as the ultimate Knight Rider toy next to an actual replica. It's the only one that talks, is the largest and the only one that has Michael in it.
