...at BBC Television Centre in Shepherd's Bush.

And knowing Jonathan Ross, I would imagine we'll get quite a few KR references, and Hasselhoff will definitely get the chance to talk up the new film.

DH appeared as a special guest at a TV awards show that Jonathon Ross hosted called "2004 TV Moments" a few
months ago on BBC ONE. I can't remember exactly what he said, but IIRC he did introduce DH like a VIP guest.
Other TV presenters over here, would've most probably mocked DH being the star of KR and Baywatch.

Eitherway, DH's interview on "Friday Night With Jonathan Ross", is very likely to be littered with clips from
both Knight Rider and Baywatch. The show's researchers will most probably dig out a few other DH clips.
Maybe they'll find clips of DH in his pre-KR days as a soap actor, or his appearance on the Love Boat.

I can't remember either, but I know there was a Knight Rider reference.

For those that aren't aware of Ross or the show, he's very geeky and into the kitsch (and a few weeks ago mentioned that he's a big fan of Hasselhoff's music, and has all his albums). That's why I think we could be in for a decent interview where Knight Rider will be taken "seriously" as a project, rather than it being scoffed at by many an interviewer.

I agree DJGM, I think KR and Baywatch will be given equal time (and the interview will be around 10 mins).

Anyone know why David is in the uk??

I think it may also be a good idea to keep an eye on other shows.

It's rare that someone appears on just one show, they mostly appear or 2 or 3 programmes.

Just think if he end up on Paul O Grady

That would be cool!

I think we in the U.S. can get to see him on BBC America on the "Graham Norton" show, so it's not all lost for us who don't live in the U.K. ......:)

I don't have the BBC America channel. I wish I did but it is only on Digital cable and we don't have that in my area yet.
Would someone please post and let us know what David talked about and alittle about the show. Thankyou in advance.

IIRC . . . it was roughly three years ago when DH was a guest on "SO Graham Norton". That
became a nightly talk show (called "V Graham Norton") instead of weekly, then eventually
the BBC poached Norton away from Channel 4. Now he's on BBC ONE, hosting a Saturday
evening primetime dancing competiton series called "Strictly Dance Fever" . . .

Is "Friday Night With Jonathan Ross" shown on BBC America at all?

I guess the "Jonathan Ross" show wouldn't fly over here in the U.S., since this counry's obsessed with instant celebs too much. Oh, well.....

Why Today? :-(

It's so ironic...I usually always check my email when I first get up before I leave for the day, but not today...so of course when I got online to check it tonight, I would get a very important email from Friday Night With Jonathan Ross, BBC1 that I think I answered probably too late. :( They contacted me earlier today to ask about using one of the photos from my website since David was going to be a guest on their show this evening. I was so unhappy when I opened that and realized that the taping of the show had ended hours ago. ARGH!!! Why do these always happen? :? I always usually check it early, but of course today I wouldn't of all days...man I am still kicking myself for that.
From now on I'm checking my email before I leave for the day so I don't miss anything else imporrtant.
Anyway, now that I got that out, I can't wait to see the show! :D

I thought it was a great interview and I was laughing throughout.

"The Hoff" mentioned that Knight Rider was likely to be done before the Baywatch movie which would be great news.

JR was funny and "The Hoff" was loving all the gags.

Repeated on Sunday on BBC 3!!

i too see the interview and thought it was hilairious the funny think was had my parents not called me down from my room (hey im a uni student its allowed) i would have missed it lol just goes to show you should do as your parents say.

for those who didnt see it here is a rough list of what was talked about

KR

baywatch

the cameo in spongebob

his music

places he was popular

and singing the song looking for freedom on the berlin wall. if i had known about it i would have recorded it then put it up on web for you international folks. DOH.

but the part that made my day was when he said baywatch had been picked up by dream works and it was beeing looked at said which parts are good etc and then he said kr was at stage.

did any one else notice how dh kept bringing up kr?? yet he didnt really mention baywatch till jr brought it up. and in the african room photo was there part of kitt in the picture?

I've taped the entire show, complete with the DH interview. I'll attempt to encode it for those of
you outside the UK tomorrow. But as the interview itself was over 20 mins long, I won't have
enough available webspace for it. I'll have to temporarily store it in my GMail account.

I've encoded a small WMV clip of 1min 11secs at 4.3MB. I'll try to find some spare webspace
to put it up on online a.s.a.p. . . . I estimate the full interview would require at least 80MB!
