That will be the 2nd time the owner of that car has put it up for Auction. The people just don't have that kind of money for a well built Replica. I kinda like it when you make your own, instead of buying one.It shows your complishment in building your own K.I.T.T.

Third time? Geeze, you'd think by now that dude would get a clue and lower the price. Guess not. :?

He originally had it up for $25,000. Then he lowered it to $20,000.

Yeah that car is BAD! I'd have it too if I had the money. I could never do something like that myself. I'd love to have it. I'd still call it KITT because my name is Kim so it would fit.

We discussed this over at the registries. People would buy it right up if the 20gs wasn't an issue. Heck, if I had that kind of money to throw around I'd buy 2. However, as nice a car as it is, it's not too accurate. For 20 grand I would expect a little more. I can turn my car over to Don, Rob or Mark and have a more accurate (at least from Don and Mark) turnkey made for less.

Considering the market it may be a while before it sells.

If you supply the donor to him? I think if you have him track you down a car and then have him get it out to you (which the way Mark prices things would be about a 1/3 of the total cost). Rob Louisell once quated me 15-20 grand to take my 92 hardtop and make it a convertable car.

I would rather build my own KARR. I feel uncomfortable with the thought of buying a Knight Rider car from a previous owner.
