The summer movie release schedule has been shuffled around... The Dukes of Hazzard has been moved up to June 24, which means it will be openning the same weekend as Herbie: Fully Loaded. I don't have a lot of faith in Herbie being able to beat the General, but I would like to see him take a bite out of the box office.
I sort of have a love/hate relationship with the Dukes movie. For the nostalgia factor, I do want to see it. And since Hollywood rarely wants to do anything original, if the Duke movie does well every studio is going to want to fast-track a "car movie" to the big screen, and that could give the Knight Rider project the boost it needs. On the other hand, I would hate to see Dukes be so succesful that it overshadows a Knight Rider release.
Go Herbie!

oh boy i had no clue they were making a new Herbie movie. Herbie the Lovebug was offically my first true love
he's so cute, how could he not?
im not that sure about the Dukes. my brother is a bigger fan of the show than i am. but i agree with what you said about it being a hit or a flop. but one thing i would worry about it that if its too big of a hit and a ton of car movies come out all at one time, KR might get looked at as just following the trend and wont be taken as serious.
