Bonnie vs April, Who was more popular

In season one, Bonnie was the FLAG technician for KITT until she was replaced by April in season two. Bonnie would later return to FLAG in seasons 3 & 4, as April would be missed. I have always wondered how season 3 would have gone if both April & Bonnie were working together. I could see the two of them fighting each other over Michael, He's is mine, no he's mine. KITT would then have to come break them up by means of stun shock, like in KR2K.

Regardless of who you like, I think there's no question that Bonnie was more popular. Despite the fact that Patricia McPherson was on the show for three seasons as opposed to Rebecca Holden on the show for one, I think the reason Bonnie was more popular and more favored was because she was part of the show since the beginning (or at least the 3rd episode). If Bonnie and April were ever to interact and work together, I think the producers simply would have made it happen. It would have been interesting to have both April and Bonnie be a part of the F.L.A.G. team. If that were the case, fans of both women would be satisfied. Instead, the writers chose to remove Bonnie, add April, remove April, then add Bonnie again with no explanation; go figure.

Well my avatar will tell you who I preffered.

Edit: love you sig Knight Raider. Reminds me of my favorite line from TDR.

KARR: Why did you de-activate the Rev? Was he malfunctioning?

I'm not really deciding on who's more popular actually, but I'd give both Bonnie and April a tie, because both were important to the show, even if April was just around for one season, and I think both characters had their place on the show, I think....I'm not sure.
In any case, I don't think we should just choose just one of the two lady characters in the "Knight Rider" series at all.

To me, Bonnies introduction in season one and her return in season three sort of reminds me of Dr. Beverly Crusher in Star Trek TNG, where she was introduced in the first season, then was replaced by Dr. Catherine Pulaski in the second season, then later returned in the third season where she permanently remained.

Thanks for the compliment Army_F_Body. I also have another favorite line from TDR, where Michael tells Devon about KARR, All they did was blow away a ringmaster, they didn't even steal any hamburgers.

I think it would be more likely (and funnier) if they were fighting over KITT.

Actually that does make alot of sense, as having two technicians working on KITT at the same time could be very conflicting. April would probably get into an argument with Bonnie, telling her that she's making an inproper adjustment to KITT, then Bonnie would probably say something like what the hell do you know, for I was the one who helped create KITT and maintained him before you showed up on the scene. KITT would probably say something like, April, you have served me well but what Bonnie can give me, I can't get from you.

I'd thought it would have been cool to have had that rivalry between Bonnie & April, similiar to V The Complete Series, where Diana & Lydia were always at each others throat.

That would be a great "lost episode".... showing why April left. Like Bonnie came back to help, they got into it over something they couldn't agree on regarding KITT, and April quit.

It's Knight Rider, so I would go with either one, as long as they knew what the were doing to KITT.

Well in terms of being more popular, NOT more likeable, I'd say it's hands-down Bonnie. Let's face it: she was with the series almost from the very beginning and throughout the first season, and she was there for two other seasons. In total she was a part of the show for almost its entire run. In terms of being more likeable, I'm going to cop-out on that one 'cause they're both hot!

Though poorly explained, Bonnie's coming and going was given reason in Knight of the Juggernaut. She left the Foundation to pursue new projects and continue her carreer, instead of being a mobile garage mechanic. April was assigned for this duty by the Foundation, until Bonnie comes to the conclusion that KITT really needs her and that her former decision was running amok.

As for my decision...inconclusive. Hey...in my writings, Bonnie and April both get their own KITT to maintain. :D

:P I liked Bonnie but I also liked April so I'm stuck in a delima.

Both made the show successful so I guess it's tie.
