Why say anything about any errors?

It looks great!!!

I can't wait to see more renderings, but I'm wondering if it can be done on any drafting programs like AutoCad?

And there is also going to more likely be a KARR Version (Maybe a SKAR if it would be ok with Sith)Also fellas ...u cant have a KITT without a KARR hehe

Hey, it's a great work!! I like it very much! :D :D :D

What method of modeling do you use for the car? I've never heard about your program, but I think the are similar in different 3D programs... In 3D Max I would probably make it from standart geometric primitives and then turn it in into a mesh for the next modeling...
But I am not so good in the program. I'm just learning it. :)

With the best wishes, Ilana.

The modelling program that my buddy used for this project specifically is called Zanonza Modeler...u can get more info about it here http://www.zmodeler2.com/ and u can download it free also...i tried my hardest to convince him to create the car in 3DS Max or something but he kept on saying it wont be true to its real life counter part.(No Blueprints in other word)

but who knows...maybe in due time there will be a 3DS version of it created sometime...but hopefully it will look nothing like this model i found fairly recently

Now the nerve of that guy to even try to sell that nasty model

what reference material do you / your friend have of KITT?
i wanted to do KITT in 3dsmax for ages, but i can't find any blueprints.
not of kitt, not even of a 1982 trans am.

Nice work with the 3d model!

I don't know if this is any help for 3d modelling but here's anyway few measurements (in centimeters) from finnish car magazine that test drove Pontiac Firebird/Trans-Am in 1982:
wheelbase: 256,5cm
length: 482,0cm
width: 182,9cm
height: 126,6cm

I don't know how many cm:s KITT's nose adds to the length though ;)

Don't forget to add the turn-signal blackouts and color the fender reflector yellow. :)

I already mentioned the (Front) turning signal color.. and the rear tail lights (Blackout) assembly to be fixed so hopefully by tomorrow the whole exterior or KITT should be completed...then only problem im gonna have now is for somebody to create and interior for us...my friend is a great modeler but he says he really sux at interiors.

Ooops, ok...we will all await the finished model. If your friend is having difficulties in making the interior, perhaps someone else in the forum can help, there are many talented minds here. :)

Try this guy for the interior.

knightfan40@hotmail.com

He created the latest Vice city kitt and the cars dash is incredible accurate except for the monitors upper console and lower console.I have a pic of the lower console which could help that.

Heres a pic of the dash
