Did the show ever explain how KARR was in working order still after he EXPLODED in TDR and blew apart?

maybe he did reverse turbo boost and the retro rockets but were unsuccesful in slowing the fall.

They don't explain how he's intact, how he has the yellow scanner, how he suddenly has a licence plate, or in the syndicated edited versions how he got his new paint job, how he has a new voice and personality, or how he's able to be painted with the Molecular Bonded Shell.
My advice- try not to think about it

Maybe it scared the 5417 out of him but he had so much gas he farted? I hear they can light up...

Another thing about his explosion. It looks like at the moment of impact they mirrored the camera to make it look like it was a different angle even though it wasn't. I havent studied this enough but ill check it out next time i watch TDR.

He landed on an explosive that had washed up on the shoreline from old weather balloons released by the Japanese in World War 2.
The explosion craftily disguised his descent into the wet sand, allowing everyone to assume he was utterly destroyed.

Sith: A perfectly logical explaination, nonetheless.
I love the idea of KARR getting killed by a balloon.

That KARR in S3 may have been an impostor, or just a nightmare.

They couldn't afford to throw a Trans AM off the cliff nonetheless use a the studio model to perform the "stunt." Plus thats footage from another episode of KR. I forgot which one.

If that's footage from another KR episode, wouldn't that mean the footage has to be before "Trust Doesn't Rust?"

Actually no. Because a season of a show is usually taped before the first episode of that season is broadcasted.

Very true, I only wondered because Knight Rider happens to be one of those shows that seemed to throw things together last minute and come up with new ideas on the move. Do you happen to know what episode that footage was from?

I believe it's from that episode when a girl accidentally overhears a conversation at a party. So the men who find her knocked her unconcious. she then regains concious and throws herself out of a car to prevent from being killed by them resulting in her rolling down a cliff. Michael who meets her at the party starts to wonder where she is and then go after the guys. Then he finds th girl who now has amnesia. As I said Im not too sure. So i wouldn't put money on it.
