knight rider online

i found this last night.it is a knight rider version of spy hunter

cool find i thought it was odd that they would have it so kitt had to use ramps to jump over stuff.

I'm not sure if it would be there but you can always look in the cache for the web browser that you use..

It's an interesting remake of Spyhunter. I like it.

I have dug the files out of my Temporary Internet Files folder and saved them to a seperate folder on my desktop. By opening the file titled "game" in my web browser, I can play the game offline.

Only problem is, the Knight Rider theme doesn't play in the background as it does online. It appears to be an mp3 sound file operating on a loop from the original webpage.

However, a copy of this should also be in yr Temp files folder. Find it and then dig out these files:

game.html (this is the file you open in yr browser to play)
game.swf
intro.swf
end2.swf

Then grab these. They are all the sounds for the game, I don;t know if you actually need them to get it to play, but hey, better safe than sorry:

carstartdrive
dooropenclose
faststop
jetstart2
vehicle025
woosh

Basically, that's everything yr browser will have cached from the game website.

Drag them all onto the desktop and then bung them into a new folder called "KnightRider game" or whatever. Right click on the game.html file, select Open With and then choose yr web browser. Once the game is running, you can open the KnightRideraudio2 file in media player and turn on the repeat function to provide the ingame theme.

Have fun - it's only three levels long!

Michael Pajaro had a somewhat similar game on the Team Knight Rider site, but you were only able to turbo boost.

i can't find any of those files under my 'C:\WINDOWS\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5' folder (including subfolders).
i use win98 2ndEd if that matters.

thought id show off on what i got out of this game...

heh heh it took a few times, turbo boost helped a lot

Hmmm...I remember playing that game waaaay before I heard of KR. When I first saw it, I just played it then forgot about it because I thought it was just some random flash game.

Hey that's kinda cool that it's still up after all this time. I like this version more than the one NBC had up for the new show.
