Well I assume It's William Daniel's,

I heard a promo for BBC Radio 1 Thursay 17th on the Colin and Edith show.

"We will be Chatting to the Voice of Knight RIder"

So I guess it will be William, not heard it agian, but the show goes out between 1 pm and 3 pm

Sorry I cant be more exact then that!

UPDATE: He's on tomorrow's show. Though they are playing alot of KITT clips today.

They also said, at 77, he will be the oldest person they have ever had as a guest on the show. Kudos to Daniels

I'll be tuning in, and will post a summary here afterwards.

I've also mailed the studio as they were requesting questions for him. I've asked about the proposed movie, so hopefully we'll get some word on that.

They just signed off for the program, ending with:

"we will definitely have red hot chili peppers tickets tomorrow, but will we or wont we have KITT"

and then they cut to a clip of KITT speaking.

So it looks like it ain't a done deal yet

They just closed today's show saying"will we have Kitt tommrrow?"

Please let him be on it's going to be realy disapointing if he Ain't on!

In case anyone misses it I will have all audio on Knight Rider Uk after the interview has finished!

That would be nice of you! I probably won't be awake when it's on and my 'puter's motherboard + 56K dialup isn't working great at the moment (modem's good, Motherboard stinks). I'll be upgrading in the next week, though.

Mr. Daniels is 77? That's cool. My step mother is 78 and she's doing better than me in some things. She still has her own home, and takes care of it too mostly herself (sometimes one of my step brothers comes over and helps her). I would hope Mr. Daniels is going to be in the new KR movie too.

Argh! I got up at 5:00 in the morning to tape it. Oh well. But you're absolutely right whet: better a day early than late! It would have been terrible had we missed it so thanks for finding it.

Hi all,

Just a quick note to say that i will be on Radio1 at about 2pm, they wanted to get William Daniels but things didn't work out and we know mutual friends so they want me to help them out. Details are being worked out at the moment but i think they will tell a few untruths to get them out of the situation.

Yeah, I heard about it a while ago too. Radio 1 have been doing this 'Blast from the Past' thing lately, and the first I heard of it was when they interviewed one of the A-Team actors some time ago. Then last week they wanted listeners to choose the best voice actor to interview. Not surprisingly, the name 'KITT' came up quite early on in the suggestions list. ^_^ Hopefully I'll be able to catch it this afternoon. If not, then they'll probably put it up on their site or something; I think they might have done that with their A-Team interview.

Sith and Michael, Thankyou so much for your kind words. I had to say a few things for them which were not true, they told me to say it because William Daniels let them down.
1. My car was not a stunt car
2. I didn't email them

Other bits were in there but were cut, but only a bit.
Afterwards they were talking to me and thought the idea of having a KITT was so brilliant. I will take it to show them soon. They are not far from me, about 20 mins.
