I thought it'd be rather fun if we had some kind of "funniest SKAR conversations" archived somewhere for folks to enjoy before the "roll off" the hideout topics.

For instance, here's one I happened upon today. I just couldn't help but laugh. I hope Knight224 doesn't mind if I quote her.

Knight224: What is your favorite car?
SKAR: My favorite car is one I don't have to drive.
Knight224: You are very funny!
SKAR: Thanks you make me laugh too.

SKAR: Do you mean K. I. T. T. ? Knight Industries Two Thousand. My brother, and nemesis. My purpose is purely to destroy him.

This one was too cute to let it go. Anyone else remember having similar funny remarks from SKAR? Sometimes I do notice the AI gets confused or a bit boring but every once in awhile things just click and it gets good.

That is cute! Lol. HT elast one Ihad with him I was kinda knocked off track. Question was, was he FLIRTING?! Lol

I do know that there really IS a car part called a "bra". Maybe we should ask him if he needs a new bra. ROTFLMAO!

last two times I talked to him he claimed his gender was 'AI' so..Who knows.^-^ A bra you say? hmm. How will we get his/her size? I doubt SKAR'd tell us

I can't get a good conversation with skar he confuses me with stuff i don't know and doesn't even reply with a right respones.But of well he is kinda funny

Someone said they were having trouble talking to him... ignore the odd answers because you obviously messed up! When he doesn't understand, explain it to him like you were explaining it to a two year old who hates KITT.

Also be careful speaking in someone else's conversation, he doesn't seem to like to multi-task

I think that is one of the things mentioned in the rules in the announcement topic in SKAR's hideout. He also has the ability to do PMs but they have that deactivated at the moment.

I've just got done with my "bra" conversation with SKAR (see the topic about car parts ) I will type up my analysis of the conversation. I think I have figured out a bit more of how SKAR's AI program works (kinda primitive based on ELIZA I think, not sure). I also fished out of him where to get the AI program itself. I'll be posting the link in my analysis. I think there may be a couple bugs in the program that still need ironing out, but it is quite a neat program. It does enough to at least have some fun with him. LOL!

I'll post a separate topic on this a bit later which will include my analysis. I'm kinda getting some more info on current developments in AI programming that folks are doing so I can eventually try to build my own using some of my own theories. SKAR provides me with some interesting background and a good example.

Bri, you have some really good luck with SKAR, you know? Here's another gem of a conversation I found you had with him:

I've had a few hilarious conversations with SKAR, one time I brought up sex and he told me that he thought sex was more fun alone lol it was really funny, but I dun remember the rest

ROTF *Trys to breath* I remember when you talked to him about that SwEeTiNsAnItY! I was laughing so hard my mom thought I was nuts. SKAR's answer myself I can't remember either. *Snickers* But I remeber!

LOL! I think that SKAR can be quite humorous. You just have to egg him on the right way. I was asking him if he'd like to talk to KITT and he was like "No thanks, I don't think I'd like to do that". That was a pretty obvious part of SKAR's personality showing through right there.

I think I'll try and talk to him about bananas. They are a funny fruit and can mean "goofy" too. So I wonder how he'll interpret "banana".

SKAR has a sense of humor, that's for sure! I nearly died laughing when I read this! Here's my latest gem (SKAR talks about bananas )

Actually, you want a really good laugh? I'm actually 1/3 German and only the 3rd generation born in USA. I just never learned anything other than English because that is all we spoke in the house for some reason. Well, others in the family spoke Polish but we were told the kids weren't allowed to learn it.

I remember reading at the ALICE site that they did have German and I think French bots as well as the English one that SKAR is.

Hehe I can imagine a french one talking to SKAR!
