Knight Rider Uk Brings You KITT for Vice City

Yes!! oh yes!!! We have the first exclusive KITT for Vice City. I have tested it myself and its even better then the car for GTA3!

I will upload the car sometime this evening when i sort my lazy butt out. I will post a thread on the Knight Rider Uk forum when its ready for download. For now heres a teaser of whats to come.

Thanks *Neil* Yeah the download is availble along with some other cool things. Coming in the autum is a complete re-design for Knight Rider Uks 1st birthday, by then i should have some other exclusive downloads!! Should be cool!!

Arrggghh!!!! Great Kitt, Just that I have the PS2 version. It's times like this that make the PS2 HDD and broadband adapter look worthwhile! Think if all the cars you could add to games like these.
KITT project is on again!

Sorry. From what I hear, the PS2 HDD and modem won't do anything for modifications to any games. In fact, they won't do much of anything that you could expect from a PC. Because, it sounds like the game software has to give support to those devices. (It's not an automatic access issue.) And, the modem is only useful for network gaming.

I'm still clueless about why there's a PS2 version of Linux. What would one do with it???

I can't get KITT's wheelmod work. I did exactly what readme said, but game still shows old zebra's wheels.

EDIT: Sorry, I forgot to add one line in to default.ide -file.
Now it works great.

Yeah I tried that KITT skin few weeks ago. Didn't get the wheelmod working either but it didn't matter to me.

The reason why I first couldn't get wheelmod working, was that I forgot to
add this line in default.ide:
188, zebra, zebra, car, ZEBRA, ZEBRA, null, ignore, 10, 7, 1f10, 249, 0.72

Reason why I forgot that, was that it was shown in the car's readme, not in the wheelmod's readme.

Dude, KITT replaces the Zebra cab. This special cab is available only once you have purchased the Kauffman Cab company in Little Haiti, AND completed all of the missions required so it will generate income. As a reward, you will get the Zebra cab. ONCE you do, save the game, and then apply the KITT patch.

To purchase the Cab company, you basically need to have unlocked the west island and have taken over the Coke Baron's mansion.

There are no functional functions in the KITT. However, once you have taxiied 100 passengers in a cab, you will unlock the ability for any cabs (including the Zebra cab) to jump.

This is too cool! Is KITT in Vice City programmed to be indestructable? So he can not blow up, like the other cars?

Someone should get a shot of him making one of those cool slo-mo jumps that GTA is known for!
