Does anyone have a good copy of this sound? I'd like to customise my computer sounds a bit more. Any format is OK.

Thanks for recomending my sound site to everyone I greatly appreciate it.
Oh now come on the sound you want for the incoming message is called in.wav and the out going message is out.wav, or at least that's what I use them for.
Or you can try Dave's Knight Rider Sounds site at:
http://www.geocities.com/Hollywood/Lot/6045/ or go to
http://www.soundamerica.com as well for KITT sounds.

Close, but not quite. The sounds you refer to are actually the connect & disconnect communication sounds, or pickup and hangup. But neither of them are the incoming call sound. It was a little tune that played, instead of the usual ring tone thing that a phone would have.

Oh yeah I remember now. Sorry man I have no idea where to find that one except on those pages I mentioned. Let me know if you find it. I'd like a copy as well.

Here's one more soundfile which includes the little "melody".

That's it! That's the one! The other sound, again, was the "connect" sound, but it's the ring I want. It's like your mobile rings a certain tune, then you press "Answer", and your phone beeps then as you press it, then again when you hang up. I want the ring.

The wav-file from me or the other one ?

The last post by KITTfan. The little tune you can hear is basically KITTs phone ringing. THAT's what our mail programs need for incoming mail. Your file is good for opening mail or IM messages. Listen... (apparently you need to copy & paste this for some reason)

I took everything else out from the soundfile except the incoming call sound, only thing that KITT says "Devon is calling" in the background, I don't have skills/software to wipe that out.
<edit>
I removed the soundfiles and links in order to create more free space to my website.

You could have gotten your own sound card to imput the sound by now. explain to me clearly what you want, and I'll capture it. the sound right before devon comes on the tv display, right?

I know what he/she's talking about. It's a deep noise, I can hear it in my head. The sound that everyone kept giving him was when all the little dots on his moniter spread out and devon appears. But he wants that low frequency sound that always plays right before KITT says "Devon's calling."

That's the one! The beeping "ring" sound! I needs it!
