KITT right after live studio display

Hi - I am new here, but have followed and lurked for years. My name is Richard.
It seems the archives are locked as far as responses, but there was a great thread about the KITT from Universal, and some shots of it deteriorating on the backlot later. I'm making Season 3/4 (see sig link) and was wondering what the final look may have been fresh at U in the late 80's...
