Help for BBC article on Knight Rider

Hello everyone,
First off - let me know just say that as someone who visits forums for other topics, I know how irritating it is for new people, particularly journalists, to parachute in and ask for a community's help.
Equally I know how irritating it is when this subject has presumably been discussed before ... but after a quick search around, I can't seem to find a thread.
I work for the BBC as a technology reporter, and following the sad news of Glen Larson's death, I wanted to look at some of the tech seen in Knight Rider that was remarkably ahead of its time.
I figured asking this forum might be a good place to start. What should I include?
You can reach me on dave.lee@bbc.co.uk ... or of course via this thread.
Again, hope I've not been too intrusive.
Cheers
Dave
