I might be in the minority but I highly enjoyed Mouth of the Snake. Its also probably one of my brothers favorites.

I agree with March.

I used to hate MOTS but now i enjoy the many qualities of it.

Rotten Apples/Knight Song/Voo Doo Knight. Episodes like those tend to justify the things people say about KR.

It depends what you mean by your definition of what ppl do say about the show.

I only hear how stupid and cheesy it is when KITT turbo boosts or even plainly just talks.

Not really how bad kitt's singing is or how Michael 'became a zombie'.

i quite like Mouth of the Snake
for once it was not centred around Michael and KITT
ok sure it tended to drift off a lil bit at times but otherwise i quite liked it.

yeah the backroundmusic was great ..i liked it...was pretty appropriate too.
i know the show centred more on dalton than on michael and kitt.but they did it quite effectively

Knight Rider was about KITT and Michael, and having them thrown to the rear to two actors who were dreadful, was an insult.

But I will agree that it had a nice score.

I will definetely agree that it should have had more KITT and Michael.

It's not one of my fave's, not even in my top 10, I think it's just underrated.

However, I will say that people shouldn't complain so much that it DIDN'T have kitt and michael in it as much as it should have had.

We still got the usual great stunts and action when they were on screen and some great detective work by them.

I can't remember the actual story much but would it have been even appropriate to show them anymore than they were? Could they have done anything?

yeah just as i thought..most people hated that episode just becuz of the fact that Michael and KITT didnt have any time on air...oh come on..overall it was a good episode...nice plot and everything...like i said....if they had a good balance with lil more off michael and kitt,it wouldve bin one of the best.....but its really stupid if to not like the episode and ignore the good storyline and effort put it in by some of the others just because of a thing like that

Actually, no, the lack of Michael and KITT is just the tip of the iceberg.

The plot line was corny, and disjointed, the characters were even less 3-D than the rest of the entire series.

The guy who played Dalton was about as believable as a slightly deadly government agent as Mickey Mouse would be, he always acted as if he had a stick up his butt, and his macho style came up short in the department. For an episode that was supposed to lead into a spin off, they didn't flesh out his character at all, just showed us how well he could flex his muscles and jump high, they never even explained really what he was, was he bionic? Did he have a really bad gas problem that caused propulsion? Was it all mind over matter? What was it? And worst of all, not too many really cared in the end.

Joanna, for such the widow, whose husband being killed was the entire reason for her existance in the storyline, seemed like she really didn't give a crap, and was more interested in the adrenaline rush of being 'Secret Agent Woman'.

Dalton's boss was about as helpful as a hedgehog in a condom factory, he wasn't.

The bad guy of the episode really couldn't figure out how bad he was going to be, nor what he was being bad for.

And even what they did to the FLAG people in this episode was pretty horrible. Suddenly they got around to asking stupid questions, not doing much of anything, and being rather bland, rather than the general colorfulness that made the show what it was.

The stunts were larger than life, the continuity of it all was highly flawed, and even if Michael and KITT were in it, I would highly doubt that it wouldn't still bore me to death, or make me roll my eyes. The episode tried to be too serious in the midst of a program that was meant to be somewhat lighthearted, and it was just all in all droll.

I only ever watched 'Mouth of the Snake' once, but I remember thinking that the characters had a convincing quality about them. Bar the guy's trampoline ("tra-map-poline!"). And I don't think David Hasselhoff was too bothered about losing screen time, on honeymoon as he was! So no, I can't say that I overly object to 'Mouth of the Snake', either.

You can't guilt people into changing their minds, that's not fair ladies and gents. If people like them, then they like them, they shouldn't be micro-examined for it.

I am sorry for my participation in the Mouth of the Snake defense, even though i was bringing out what i didn't like about it. Let's try not to nitpick people's selections in something like this, ok?

its when mike got shot and he thought about leaving the federation.. had the girl "lindsey" thats on the ABC soap opera.. that was an awful show! mike running around on the beach!? thats not mike knight
