Try e-speaking (
http://e-speaking.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;). The program has many commands already installed and you can program in voice commands to do specific things like open an mp3 file. I've used the program to open mp3's. For example, I say "KITT, Play your song." and he plays his theme song. Admittedly, there is a short delay because he has to open Windows Media Player to play the song. Also shorter sentences are easier for him to process and understand than longer ones.
