Found this when searching for knight rider SNL.I remember he was on a weekend report. or made fun of by Norm Macdonald.

That was a collection of clips and it looked like he was having a good time to me, nothing out of the ordinary. I know he hit a bad spot before Baywatch came along with his drinking and all that.

One of Norm's re-occuring punchlines, during his run leading "The Fake News", was -- when in reference to Germany or Hasselhoff -- "This once agian proves my theory: Germans love David Hasselhoff."
