knight rider online

The commercial for a new episode of Robot Chicken says "A lifetime Knight Rider takes the night ride of a lifetime" and shows clips of a toy KITT crashing into all sorts of things.

For those not familiar, Robot Chicken is a series of very short claymation videos (10 seconds to a few minutes) so don't expect there to be a lot of Knight Rider footage.

Here's a quick shot of KITT from an older show... They've done longer Knight Rider spoofs but I'm having trouble finding them.

The episode airs Sunday at 11:30 PM on Cartoon Network.

Funny stuff. I never realized what a good K.I.T.T. impression Seth Green can do.

All I can say after watching the knight rider skit is we finally have the knight rider spoof we deserve.Lets face it,I think the main plot is something we all feel deep down in our hearts,there will always truelly be only 1 REAL knight rider.

When I saw the ki2t hump the ki3t that just made me laugh harder than I ever laughed at any kr mention/spoof.The writers must be someone who viewed the topics on this board or just come to the same understanding that as hard as the kr08 writers tried they just couldn't make it a better form of knight rider.

Wow, they were HARSH! But it was pretty funny.

I wouldn't call it harsh, for me and my own personal feelings towards the new show I call it accurate lol.

Speaking as the only guy that makes parts for the 3000, that was f*#king funny as hell!
I know some other 3000 replica owners who thought it was funny as well. (Ted for one.)

The 'Nerd' character is alot like the Dr. Who fans who won't let go of David Tenant when Matt Smith kicks ass.
(They do it with EVERY incarnation of The Doctor in fact.) lol

There is always gonna be those in the fandom who "Can't let go and move forward" just because it's new and they can't accept it because they loved the original so much as kids.


It WAS harsh but in fairness they were basing it off of the TV Movie & not the series. The series DID have KITT do a lot of the things old KITT did and more. (Turbo boost, ski mode, nano repair, HUD display, chemical analyzer, video phone/chat, etc, etc.) Not JUST drive really fast. So a lot of the gripes don't apply. (The turning into a truck does.)

The clip doesn't take away from the cool factor of driving the Knight Industries 3000. Even if it didn't have KITT installed it would (at it's worst) still looks like a kick ass $80,000 Shelby KR500 Mustang.

LOL, those are great. I have Robot Chicken S1 on DVD and the "Super Race" is my fave! How can you not like Knight Rider, Dukes Of Hazzard, and CHiPs all in the same race??? Those were 3 of my fave shows ever!
