Probably a question for Nick, really, but I'm curious to know when the pilot episode was filmed? What year and months?

I think it'd probably be more up the ally of Joe Huth or Paul Nuthall.

The Pilot was filmed from July 8-26, 1982, with additional scenes filmed August 18-19, & 26, 1982. This info is courtesy of Paul Nuthall at the Knight Rider Archive...so in a way we both helped you out!

Correct me if im wrong with anything but on knight of the pheonix wiki says that filming in las vegas took place on the night of auguest 8,1982. the michael knight recovery scenes were filmed in los angelas through the days and nights of july 26-auguest 18, 1982. the detective scenes(which probley meant michael knights first mission)were filmed in silicon valley,california through the days and nights of auguest 19-auguest 26,1982.

Believe it or not, none of the Pilot was actually filmed in Las Vegas...it was all in the Santa Clarita/L.A. area.

Wow, cannot believe I actually got specific dates! I was half expecting them to be unknown, and maybe given just the year.

I guess that didn't leave much time to promote it considering how close it was filmed to being released, even though I have seen tv spots of it.
