Not many know this, but I have not been building the most fully functional KI3T simply just for car shows.
I have been building the ultimate prop KI3T for a 3D fan series.

720p HD stereoscopic Knight Rider anyone?

Rebooted KI3T returns May of 2011 and can be watched on the new 3D TVs, PCs, and laptops using nVidea 3D Vision
or on Youtube using the 3d player options.
Stay tuned to this thread for a preview of the new web series.

Gee sounds pretty cool. I look forward to seeing this Mustang, I bet with your eye for details it is just like the one used on the show. Would you consider posting some pictures of it to help build the excitement, and so that those of us always eager for KR news can see how incredible, amazing and functional this KI3K is.

New 3D series=exciting!

It will be of course separate creative process from Glen's uber awesome KR Movie universe.
There is a version of the script that Dave Andron made that I would love for him to let me tell in 720p 3-d.
But if I get wind that Glen would not like that for whatever reason I would not do it.
No need to confuse the fan base further right before a KR Movie reboot.
I just like the idea of continuing the adventures of the Knight 3000 in 3-d.

I would likely try and procure the aid of other creative KR fans such as Nick Nugent, tobie1 on youtube, and others to give a fan approved new darker vibe that we all have been craving.
But as I said, I would respect Glen's opinion if he objected, and not make it.

Well. as far as respecting Glen Larson's opinion on your own creative process, I'm quite sure he wouldn't mind. There is plenty of Knight Rider fan fiction out there right now, including various "spoofs" of the show. I think that what you are doing is something new and exciting to bring to the table, and I for one can't wait to see it! How's the car coming along? )
