KR mentioned on The Big Bang Theory.

I knew they were going to mention KR sooner or later. lol
(Realizing he's not going to be around forever, Sheldon's made a crude robot of himself with a computer monitor for a head. He's really back in his room at the apartment.)
[Scene in Leonard's car.]
Sheldon: I don't understand why you're not enjoying this. Together in this car, with my enhanced capabilities, we're like Knight Rider.
Leonard: Except in Knight Rider, the car wasn't a yammering sphincter.
Sheldon: You mock the sphincter, but it is a class of muscle, without which human beings couldn't survive. [showing a diagram on his monitor] There are fifty different sphincters in the human body. How many can you name?
Leonard: I was wrong. This is exactly like Knight Rider.

Ya I was wondering when CBS would let the cat out of the bag on this. Only a matter of time I guess. I hope this isn't the last reference to KR though as I was hoping for a funnier spot than the sphincter reference. Hopefully Sheldon tries to make an artificial intelligence and the voice is none other than WD
. Also isn't this the same air date or close as the premier of KR2008?

Even if it was slightly anti-climatic, I was pleasantly surprised to hear KR mentioned in the show. It totally made my night.

Me too. You know, I'm secretly kind of hoping Sheldon and either Raj or Howard will debate which 'KITT' was better. That would make my day if they could get William Daniels to guest star in some way!
Close. This episode aired Sept. 30. KR08 premiered on Sept 24.

Oh man! I have got to start watching Big Bang again! All their Sci-Fi references are hilarious! granted it's usually Star Trek/Wars related but they do surprise you! lol
Will have to find the ep title and watch it online.

The episode's called "The Cruciferous Vegetable Amplification".
I'm just as bad at forgetting to watch it sometimes.
(What happens to Howard in the fourth season premiere is hilarious.

that show is a total must! Especially for some of us who are Sci-fi geeks! You never know what show they will reference first! They had a whole ep where the 2 leads argued over Star Trek Federation codes of conduct! LOL

If anyone's interested. I believe they're re-airing the episode tonight on CBS at 9:00 Eastern. (Less than an hour from now.)
