I saw that the other day....interesting that the seller includes pictures of the show car and not of the actual car for sale.

A conservative estimate, using his information, is that this guy would make $15,000 in profit if he were to sell it at his price.

So they are using the picture we all saw that leaked to the community before the kr08 2 hour movie about kitt being a mustang and then the other 2 pics are from the kr festival so we know that he didn't just surf online for some pics and post a way to get 45 grand and blow town.

So basically a used GT with 40k miles on it,plus all the upgraded parts lead to 45 grand?I dont know the cost doesnt seem right

hum well a 1982 trans am as kitt in turn key cost cost bassically 50 grand so it depend of the work involved in the car

I've got, roughly, $26-27,000 in my car...that's including the cost of the car. Now I did all the labor myself (minus paint on the hood) so the cost of labor could add up, but only to about $1500.
If this guy can find a sucker, he'll be rollin'. Hell I'll sell KI3T's for $30 grand!

well in france for doing a replica the cost is about 80000 a brand new gt cost 60000 here taxe , charge ,etc I hate our governement

To me it sounds like the $40,000 is to convert the car that you give him.

It looks like he's a subscriber of mine as well.
He contacted me sometime ago wanting to buy everything I offered and then said he would have to wait to get the money together.
I guess this is what he meant.
I guess when he finds someone willing to spend that much money he will get a voice orb from me and install it in the car.
Little does he know I will not be selling him ANY of my products.
I make these parts for the KR community NOT so other folks can make a quick buck at the expense and excitement of others.

I don't sell to KR conversion company's or anybody trying to do a small business startup.

I wonder how he is going to offer a Interactive Voice Orb without me selling him one.

Hey Taoworm....Thanks for looking out for the Knight Rider fans.I know alot of guys in your position would have just sold this guy a orb.If this guy is charging that much money on top of you supplying a car well then he had better also be transplanting a supercharged 5.4 motor also.Seeing that is the motor in a GT500KR.This guy apparently is looking to make some easy money at the expense of some die-hard fans.I cant imagine anyone going to this guy,supplying a car and giving him over 40,000.00 to do a replica.
