Has anyone noticed actors or actresses starring in both franchises? I recently spotted that William Windom, who played Wayne Altfield in Knight Racer, starred in the Star Trek TOS episode "The Doomsday Machine" as Commodore Matt Decker. Anyone got any others?

Patricia McPherson guest starred in the season 1 episode of TNG, (Angel One) as Mistress Ariel, who was one of the six elected members of the planet's government.

- Robin Curtis was Lt. Saavik in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock played Nicole Turner in Season One's Short Notice.

- Morgan Woodward who guest starred in Star Trek: TOS (The Omega Glory, Dagger of Mind) played Sherrif Wilson in Season One's Knight Moves.

- Anne Lockhart was the voice of the U.S.S. Kelvin Computer in Star Trek (2009), she played Sherry Benson in Season One's Good Day at White Rock and Jennifer Shell in Season Two's Return to Cadiz

- Lance Legault guest starred in Star Trek: TNG as Capt. K'Temoc (The Emissary) played Vernon Gray in Season One's Knight of the Phoenix and Christopher Stone in Season Two's A Knight in Shining Armor.

- Peter Parros played a Tactics Officer (I believe he was a klingon) in Star Trek: TNG (A Matter of Honor). He played as we well know 'RC3' Reginald Cornelius III in Season Four of Knight Rider.

just curious, burton armus the producer of knight rider, i noticed his name on the credits as producer of star trek next generation, is this the same person?

a used car to a very young Nicole De boer, not sure what episode either.

Wasn't Nana Visitor from Hills of Fire in some incarnation of Star Trek?

Yes, she was in Deep Space Nine. Christopher MacDonald was in Ten Wheel Trouble, and he starred in the Next Generation episode Yesterdays Enterprise. He's also Shooter McGavin in Happy Gilmore! Ten Wheel Trouble also starred James (or Jamie) Cromwell, who played Zefram Cochrane in the film Star Trek : First Contact. Ten Wheel Trouble also had a character called Shatner!

That's right; Nana Visitor played Kira Nerys on Star Trek Deep Space Nine. Her character started out as a Major in the Bajoran Militia, before being promoted to the rank of Colonel in season seven. Towards the end of the Dominion War, she also received a Starfleet field commission with the equivalent rank of Commander.

Black TA, the girl who bought the used car in the season two episode, A Good Knight's Work was played by Rosalind Allen, who was billed as Rosalind Ingledew at the time. She also played Samantha Lawton in the season four episode, Knight Behind Bars, and went on to become Dr. Wendy Smith in seaQuest DSV.

Peter Mark Richman, who played Kleist in "Many Happy Returns" and Klaus Bergstrom in "Goliath Returns," was in "The Neutral Zone" during Star Trek: The Next Generation's second season in 1988. Like Lance LeGault, he's one of those character actors who seem like they were in just about everything on TV in the 80s (Fantasy Island, Dynasty, The Fall Guy, TJ Hooker, etc...).

And don't forget Charles Napier, one of the demolition derby/truck drivers in "Knight of the Phoenix." He was the guy who ended up in the jail cell adjacent to Michael's before KITT busted him out. Napier was actually in an episode of the original Star Trek series, as Adam, one of the "space hippies," in "The Way to Eden." Again, another guy who seems like he's just been in everything.
