knight rider online

For my Knight Avenger project, I am looking to make the KITT voicebox have a unique look. So I came across this: http://www.dealmonger.com/Bully-Oval-LE ... o-CR-017D/ and realized it was perfect for what I want it to look like.

Problem is, I am no wiring or technical genius, so I would not know how to manipulate the glowing emblem to resemble the KITT voicebox.

Anyone able to look into this? I am actually willing to pay someone to make it for me if they were able to do it.

Why on gods green earth would you want to make one single red LED in a ram plastic housing your voice box?

There are kits you can buy to make a LED light with sound. You could hook your 'hitch light' to the board easy. Look on LED kits websites. Electronic hobby websites will have them.

I guess I should have made it more clear.

I was looking for more of a modification of the light to simulate the original KITT voicebox, only it would radiate from center to the sides. Just trying to come up with something unique.

You can hook a 10 segment red LED bar graph display to an LM3916 - Dot/Bar Display Driver chip for the effect you desire.
