Someone told me that she was related to Devon...
Is this true?
They said that when she was introduced...
They introduced her as his niece...

I just happened to watch "Goliath" the other night which is April's first appearance, and I can tell you there's no mention whatsoever of her being Devon's neice. She appears as mysteriously as she disappears by Season 3.

No it's not like I have any particular interest in April...
Her character was nice and we just ended up debating whether or not she and Devon were related...
My friend said that she was related to Devon...A niece to be exact...
That stunned me.
I was like...NO WAY! I don't remember that.
But it seems that I was right.

I should have bet $$$$$$$$$$$$$.

I believe that was in one of the five novels that came out here in the States. I only have the first two, but I remember it was mentioned somewhere that the one based on Goliath said that April was Devon's niece.

Maybe Joe or Paul, or the mods can back me up on this?

(Or maybe I just dreamed the whole thing where it said that.)

In the book titled "24 carat assassin" (I think) which is adopted from the episode The Mouth of the Snake. Devon tells Micheal that April is his daughter.

If memory serves correctly, it was mentioned at the end of the book as the closing conversation between Micheal and Devon.

You are correct about the book and where the conversation takes place. It was in 24 Carat Assassin, and it was a conversation between Devon and Michael about April. Devon's reason for her name being Curtis was that she had recently divorced.

Look around Ebay and Amazon. Three of the books were published in Europe as well as the U.S. Those three you should be able to find U.S. editions for decent prices. The other two were only published in Europe. I ended up paying $30 each for them on Amazon.

I was never sure if she was related to Devon or not, but all I knew is that she was Smokin' HOT!! Is it just me, or has anyone noticed that the KR Legacy had some of the HOTTEST Women in TV on them?

That novel makes the episode Race for Life very interesting, there was April's sister, Laura Phillips who also was Devon's daughter? Becky was April's niece but she was adopted. A bit confusing but the episode was excellent
Haven't read that novel myself though, I only have 2 of them, the pilot and Hearts of Stone.

if you go onto a site called abe books and search knight rider novels there should be listings the site is new and secondhand books ive used the .co.uk site here in scotland and its very good

I can't help but think there is some relation there, as the Season 4 episode "Deadly Knightshade" had Ian Browning and Devon Miles contending with the "Curtis Bequest", of which both Browning and Miles were a party to.

Bequests are usually handled by family members, and it sure seems like Devon Miles is heading up whatever other trustees there were in that episode.

It's thin, but it's a thought.
