RTL Germany is airing the Knight Rider 2008 Pilot on Thursday, 08 October 2009 at 21:15(German Time)

The Series is Starting on 10.October 2009 at 16:45 (German Time)

Its correct the pilot starts on Thursday.
But the series starts one week later.
Thursday 17th Oct.

To all the viewers of RTL who will see KR2008 for the first time-GREETINGS FROM AMERICA!!!! I know that you will enjoy and be a big fan of this just as much as American fans!!!

I enjoy too on this Thursday on 21:15 our time (Czech). I'll watching whole film, because I needn't go next day to the school, second half our class go to Germany on some trip and I will not go.

I saw the pilot of Knight Rider 2008 on saturday on Swiss Television. But I have to tell you that I don´t like the new remake.... The new KITT version (like Knight Rider 2000) has too much computer animated effects and his german voice is horrible (I know the US original version with Val Kilmer is much better)!!! It´s has not the charm of the good old KITT.... Knight Rider 2008 is like a fantasy or science fiction movie... I do like much more the old Pontiac Firebird Trans Am with less effects which make it much more realistic.

Why is it not possible to go back to the roots and copie the old KITT-version? For me personally, the new series is not Knight Rider... as I wrote before, it's something between a science fiction or fantasy movie and has no charm.... I'm very disapponted...

Tonight comes on RTL television new Knight Rider 2008 !!! In 21:15 our Time (Czech Republic and Germany too). I'm enjoying, but is bad that KR not yet in Czech Republic meanwhile, and will in german language (english is better, because I can not german language) but I'll watch tonight at least on Germany TV.

i'm really interested in the way this series is translated. as i heared the synchronous voices of KI3T and Mike in the preview I was a little bit disappointed sounds really crappy to me ... just 45 minutes to wait till the series starts

Really? I total liked the dubbing in trailer.

So first Pilot film has been broadcasted, so how you liked Germans? And yet is very cool that first mission of Mike and KITT has been in our country (Czech Republic).

the voice of kitt was diffrent as it was in the trailer.
it was better in the movie.much better.

now i wait for the ratings

I watched it too in Lithuania, and can't wait to hear about ratings, i hope they are high and it will bring us Knight Rider back for one more season.

And which ratings?

those ratings like in the US and GB to tell us how many people approximately watched KR ...

The fact Knight Rider 2008 is doing well on German TV is great, but it doesn't surprise me one bit. This shows, once again, why NBC is heading for the dumper.

Hahaha! Agreed. I mean seriously, KR did better than almost most of their new shows. If they do the show right ,change the time slot and syndicate it they'll have a successful show on their hands. *sigh* too bad they're ignorant.

Yes, I agree with this opinion, NBC did big mistake.

Sorry but RTL put off KR on next week, so on 17. October at 16:50.

So first episode of Knight Rider 08-09 watched 2.11 milion fans of Germany, it is less by half then Pilot but it said is still very good.
