True Blood HBO & Knight Rider TOS connection

Hi all,
Not sure if this has been posted already, but the guy who played the "rev" in "Trust Doesn't Rust" is the sherriff in True Blood.
Also i don't remember the TOS episode name, but Michael and KI2T went to Louisana, same place where True Blood takes place.
