A question regarding location of Knight Rider Festival II

I should be travelling over to Vegas with a friend in March and would like to ask if it was possible for the Festival to be placed in a more central location on the strip or even more to the top if it is feasible?
I have been to Vegas a number of times and it would cost me and my friend a considerable amount of money to keep travelling up and down.
A bus is cheap enough but it takes very long to get there and a cab would be expensive from the top to the bottom.
The only thing I could do is only travel down on those specific dates when the Festival is on but I would want to mingle with the KR crowd, obviously, on other days.
