Just thought everyone would like to know that Season 1 is up for pre-order on Amazon.

I'm very pleased to see Amazon is promoting it as 'Season One' and not 'The Complete Series'. Hopefully they know something we don't. In either case, I've got my copy ordered. There isn't a release date listed, but I'm hoping its soon.

I am surprised its out this fast!!!
This may be a bad sign. maybe NBC already made its mind and want to have it over with KR. so lets hope this is not the case.
on the other hand, there is no word about the special features or any thing else.

I don't think it being available for pre-order this fast means anything tragic. Since it's already in digital HD distribution, tossing the episodes on to DVDs isn't much of problem (I'm pretty sure I could do that in one day). As for the special features, NBC and MKVFX both have released plenty of interviews, docs and montages, so most of that has been covered, too.

If there's any 'sign of things to come' in this tid-bit, it's the DVD title 'Knight Rider Season One'. Then again, Amazon was selling pre-orders for Duke Nukem Forever five years ago, so take this with grain of salt.

this is kind of weird- Amazon doesn't usually put up their pre-orders until after a DATE is announced...

According to Amazon, you can order it now and they will notify you by email the release date once the date is confirmed.

I'm assuming there will be a DVD release, but Amazon pre orders don't seem to be a sign of anything except perhaps some preliminary negations between them and Universal. I was on the pilot pre order list and that never materialized except for the free version. Though hey pre-order did come through for me on the Harry Potter box set before a general release.

now that you mention it, "Tv shows on DVD" hasn't picked up on this...

scratch that; they picked up on it today, but have also said the show is cancelled....
