The Knight Rider Festival is only a month away!! I'm sure getting excited. Not only will it be totally cool to see all the stars and to get to meet everyone from KRO, we are also helping a great charity out and by doing so we are living up to the ideal that one man can make a difference. A lot of you, like me, enjoy making Knight Rider tribute videos. Well here is your chance to have your videos seen by the cast and crew of Knight Rider. Three videos will be selected to be shown at the VIP event of the Knight Rider Festival. The winners will receive a VIP pass to the event. Whether or not you plan on attending, here is a great way to get involved. Check out the news page for more information on the contest.

I'm annoyed I've only gone and lost the Sony Vegas project file for the tribute I was already doing. I had planned on adapting this for the KRF competition as I had already spent a good amount of time on the original one, total bummer

Question is do I start again with software I'm familiar with or now that I'm OSX native learn to use Final Cut? I got thinking about what you said about needing a project to work on being the best way to learn, maybe this could be mine?

and final cut is pretty easy to learn. i'm using it for this project, so if you have any questions i can be there to help.

I'm new to the Mac but I can already see the benefits, its just getting my head around the little differences in the way things work.

Yes, thats definitely on our list of things to get up for you guys. It's taking a little longer because we can't just stick them up on Youtube or Vimeo since they contain some copyrighted material.
