Hi all,
I noticed something funny in this ep. Not really intentionally funny but I thought it was...
When Michael first meets Katherine, his shirt is open and you can see a lot of his chest. I know Michael rarely buttons up his shirts but I thought it was funny that he just met this young girl and was trying to tell her he needed to take her away because her father has died...and the whole time his hairy chest is exposed to her! Not only that but her head only comes up to his chest anyway, so if she looks straight ahead she will see nothing but that.
Can't that guy wear a t-shirt underneath? haha
BTW, how many ladies actually like to see guys' chests? Just a dumb question.

To be fair, you should ask how many guys like to see ladies' chests. And expect the same type of answer.
I think the more irregular thing was the fact that here is Michael, with this young girl, and kisses her in the end.

i think he kisses almost every girl in every episode at least once. u could probably bet money on it

Mike, you are a sick, sick man.
And as for Michael kissing every girl, yes, he does, but think about it, this girl is supposedly 21, she's regarded as a kid throughout the whole show, and then he kisses her ON THE LIPS. (sick, Michael P. Sick) That matched with the pimp fur on Hasselhoff's chest that kept showing itself in this episode....it was funky.

Well this is getting off topic but 21 as young? I know Katherine is regarded as a kid throughout the show but she IS 21. I'm not sure how old Michael is but I'd guess at around 28 or 29, so I don't see a big difference.
And no, I didn't think that kiss was a big deal, I mean it was just an innocent kiss between friends. Michael DID help Katherine to find out her father really loved her, after all. And as I recall, it was Katherine that made the movement, Michael just responded...I'm sure he would have settled for a hug...

For starters, KITT nailed it when he called Katherine a brat, she was a brat
As for the kiss, I do think Katherine initiated that. What I noticed was that there was no mention of Katherine's mother on anyone's part, even hers.

And for the record, Michael was in his thirties.
And it just seemed wrong somehow, especially after he made such a big deal about her being so young.
It's almost like they threw the 21 in there to just buffer the strangeness.

We'll have no problem catching up to that domestic piece of aluminum...
Nice touch to have one of the "Preppie Patrol" be an Aston Martin Lagonda! Take that 007. Coincidentally enough, that's the same model Aston Timothy Dalton rides in "The Living Daylights" just a few years later.
That still ranks as one of the gratest Knight Rider moments in my opinion!

What about that second 'independent truckers' episode, 'Ten Wheel Trouble', was it? Michael was almost that girl's aging madam in the Nevada desert/ Mrs. Robinson! How old was
she meant to be, because it was as though he was introducing her to the world of
maaaan-hood.
The girl in 'Custom KITT' was a bit worrying too.

Wasn't there an episode, I think it was third season, the one where MK and KITT helped a bunch of truckkers, where he ends up kissing this "15" year old? You, know, the computer geek? No wait, she initiated that one.
