Hold on a sec...someone else on the forum claimed this Vanessa Williams wasn't the one of Miss America and Ugly Betty fame. But BuddyTV claims it is her. What gives?

She was a Miss America who got dethroned when she posed for Penthouse. She now stars on Ugly Betty.

Yeah, Vanessa L. Williams is quite well known for a lot of things.

I'm pretty sure we've seen pics or a clip that showed Vanessa A. Williams also.

the Buddy TV article claims that the reduction in episodes is more to do with ratings than cost cutting, at least thats the way it appears to be slanted...

They've actually been pretty supportive of the series, all in all. It surprised me that they didn't get this casting thing right, although it kinda looks like they're working off of NBC info...

But, I'm as sure as I can be that my information is correct, and we'll be seeing "A", not "L" Williams tonite.

Tonight is the best chance we have to get an uptick in the ratings. No Dancing with the Stars and no American Idol and no Bones. Hopefully we can get some viewers back that we lost after Obama's hiatus cause next week we're getting crushed by Idol!

NBC still hasn't done a whole lot of promotion though, which is a bit annoying. A few commercials here and there does not good promotion make.
