TV by the Numbers (http://tvbythenumbers.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) has a poll asking viewers which shows NBC should axe to make room for Jay Leno's new show.

73% of all responding so far have picked Knight Rider. Kath and Kim is coming in a distant 2nd at 49%, Biggest Loser at 39%.

Please take a moment and vote for any other shows besides Knight Rider.

I voted for Biggest loser and Law & Order SVU

i voted The Biggest loser, Kath and Kim and another half hour show cant remember what it was...However not Knight Rider or Life......

leno is going to be on at 10pm, how does that have anything to do with knight rider, or affect knight rider?

Very very bad news. With Leno being given the 10pm time slot all week it doesn't look good for KR. This means NBC has less hours to fill and more programming to choose from. In other words, the competition for those 8pm and 9 pm slots has just increased b/c NBC doesn't need shows to put in the 10pm slots b/c of Leno's talk show. There's a greater pool of shows to select from now. Unless KR gets a serious boost in ratings after the hiatus I think its a goner.

Dont be sad my friend. Here look at this guaranteed to make you smile. Rememebr they didnt cancel Knigh Rider this season. That means we still have a chance to boost ratings and save the show.

I don't see how Jay Leno's new show would be interfering with Knight Rider at all. He'll still be host of The Tonight Show for another year, with his new show rumored to possibly premiere next Fall. Knight Rider first has to clear the hurdle of being renewed for a second season (and recent comments from Gary Scott Thompson all but confirm it will).

And secondly, this is just an opinion poll. It's NBC's opinion on whether they should axe the show that really matters. Hopefully things like this won't influence them too much.

Where are they getting the people for this poll?

When I voted last night, Knight Rider had 883 votes against it. Now, I see 1091 votes against it. That is an additional 200 people in an overnight period.

I'm have to vote twice a day to catch up.

Sorry, but it seems to me you can't really take anything he says at face value.

"Hell No!!!" They should not cancel this show. Even though, I had this strange feeling that all of these things that are happening to "KR08" (Mid-season break, re-tooling & season reduction) were going to happen after all. But I really hope that this show does make it to another season & beyond, if it's possible...

Law and Disorder sucks so I voted both of them and Heroes for starters.

Law and Order and The Biggest Loser.....the latter being a giant (pardon the pun) waste of time.
