They had lots of potiential for the episode last night and they blew it.

For starters Knight rider is supposed to be a action show. Where's the action? Were not seeing anything cool comming out of the car. No squealing around corners, no turbo boosts.... (no good looking turbo boosts) not much of anything. Look at any show ever on tv that has a car as some part of the cast. Knight rider, dukes of hazzard, fallguy, a-team... Them vehicles are all doing cool things. it makes them appear special.

I had to laugh out loud after the super bee wreck, when Mike and kitt pull up.... Now remember his friend and co-worker were supposedly in the car and Mike gets out and casually walks up to the car.... What is that? The only part of the show that Mike can act in is the romance and relationship aka (soap opera) part of the show. I hate to say I am enjoying that part of the show more then I am the non-existent action part of the show.

From what I recall the 2hr pilot movie had much more action and cool driving scenes in it then all the other episodes combined! That kitt and tahoe wreck was awesome! The driving scenes were cool, and believeable. Now the high speed chases we see consist of Mike talking on the screen, looking like he is on a sunday drive.

NBC needs to hire someone who can write and direct. Hell I'll take the job at half the price they are paying the people to do it now.... I guarentee double the ratings that knight rider is getting now!!!

End rant... :kitt:

I agree that the episode was a little bit watered down when it came to the action, but I did like the story and thought the little action that was there was well placed. One saving grace of the episode for me was when Mike threw the bomb underneath K.I.T.T. and having K.I.T.T. not be damaged. Too many times so far this season K.I.T.T. got damaged doing what were basic stunts for the Knight 2000.

You are absolutely right my friend.

I don't recall KITT ever getting damaged before his encounter with GOLIATH.

yea but that was mid-transformation... the only time he can get hurt right? I'm sorry but covering a bomb is not going to make it for me.... I need more then that.

Watch that Quinton tarrentinto movie death proof.... Now that was a car chase scene and it was low budget.

i totally agree, they need to do stunts and turbo boost, and change the dash and steering wheel. and the stupid comedy routine with billy and zoe is getting played out and rediculous, the writers and directors need to get more serious about the content of this show or it wont last more than a season. bring on the hoff!!!!!

Yeah! It's time we make KI3T do something awesome!KI3T's the real star attraction for KR and it's needed that he does all the awesome stuff! The need for KI3T doing stunts are way greater than the need for the human members of the cast.
