I was thinking and looking around on spoilertv site. I was looking at the script for tonights episode Knight of the Hunter and decided to look at another script snippet.

So I was looking at the script for Don't Stop The Knight and I realized something very interesting.
PRIME_BBCODE_SPOILER_SHOW PRIME_BBCODE_SPOILER:
About 3/4th down the script, I realized a scene with Charles & the robot Hank that he had created years ago. I remember hearing Hank gets jealous and I see this because in the script he throws things at Graiman. Now after this Graiman finds a popular mechanics pic magazine with a pic of him when he was younger talking about his A.I. Inventions like Lisa and Katie which are the other two robots. It states "as he takes in the image, a realization dawning..."

I bet you this has to do with his connection to the original and KI2T invention. Also for the fact if you look closely this is taking place in the "Knight Research & Development" lab. When you look at the questions GST just answered

"Will you explain specifically how Charles Graiman connects to the original series? Flashbacks perhaps?

Upcoming episodes will clarify Graiman’s connection to the original series."

At the top there is a picture of the Knight Research & Development lab room at the top of the page where GST answered the questions on the nbc site.
What do you guys think? Give me your ideas!

Joe

I saw some definite foreshadowing there when I read it and how leaving an advanced AI that is "alive" for so long that it will eventually or potentially develop human traits, including the bad ones and likely doing so without the humanity to go with it. I don't see it as being a reference to the original KITT since we know KITT had "humanity", perhaps the original KITT was an exception.

Hopefully, they are though going about this as making it so Charles worked for Wilton Knight and was involved on the AI side of things, not the whole shebang as they implied in the backdoor pilot. I am curious where they will be taking this, hopefully down a good path that doesn't mess with the original's history too much.
