Obama HAS delayed Knight Rider a week

Really not a way to get my vote Mr Obama! He has bought the 8-8:30 block on Oct 29th to air a half hour infomercial on his campaign. This is on CBS and NBC - so both New Adventures of Old Christine and Knight Rider may be affected.

They claim NBC is going to put a half hour comedy for the remainder of the 8pm hr, but we're looking to confirm this. If anyone hears anything, let us know!
**UPDATE: I've gotten confirmation that this is true. Knight of the Living Dead will air on 11/5 instead of 10/29.

Lame! Though I'm sure NBC gave him a nice discount, heh.

Could you not have picked another night?

Question is which half hour comedy will be funnier?

Ha ha.
Maybe they should change the episode title to "The Democratic (k)Night" after all...

Knight of the Democrats.
Mike is on a mission with KITT to stop an Obama assassination attempt? Interesting...

It's a shoo-in, I don't think McCain has a snowball's chance in hell (I wish he did), it would take nothing short of a miracle for McCain to win this. So let me watch Knight Rider!!

Hey, who's got the inside scoop if it will still be on NBC online after Wednesday?

you all are joking, right?
i mean can you seriously decide the fate of your nation and the worldwide political impact on wether Knight Rider is delayed or not???
you're more responsible than that, aren't you?

So Mr Obama is going to be on the TV between 8-830 on 29 October....
But is it possible that KR will still be available via NBC.com....?

That's what the word "diehard fans" stand for.
We just don't like our show being trashed like it got no ratings and pride at all...

i believe that most of the people that are saying they won't vote for him were not going to in the first place as im not going to...i mean he has had all the debates to talk around in circles about nothing why buy a time slot that people are watching to do it....and god help us if the fate of the nation is in his hands...neither one is worth voting for in my opinion

Leeets not turn this into a political debate, cause those get ugly fast. If you want to debate the politics of the election make a topic in the Lounge! (and I encourage you to do so!)
I'm pretty sure that anyone said it cost him their vote was joking - this is Knight Rider people - it's not world changing as much as we personally think it may be.
I don't think NBC will air it online before the 5th, but stranger things have happened. I think they want everyone they can to tune in these days for the live premier.

Welll.... I'm a Democrat and Obama Supporter. I don't think one night of KR will be a problem for me because I know there'll be another knight of KR. If I REALLY need a KR fix, I can just watch one of the original series DVDs.
But I don't think I'll be watching that docu-mercial either. But hey, that's politics for ya. Since when is a politician perfect?
Maybe instead on that night I might watch the TOS episode "Just My Bill". Probably just right considering...

I'm not voting for McCain or Obama, hell I dunno if I even want to vote Libertarian this time around because I don't like Bob Barr. I think I might just go with a write in of that candidate from Sue's "news" video and vote Epstein!

Either that or none of the above. UGH. Then again, since there's no chance in hell, I might as well go vote Libertarian again anyway.
The guy is going to likely beat McCain significantly, he really doesn't need this infomercial. I'm sure there will be some "equal time" complaints coming out because of it.
Washington so badly needs a massive enema and it's not going to happen any time soon.

I think a political discussion in the lounge sounds like a lot of fun..... but come on everyone, let's look at the real problem with this:
"Knight of the Living Dead" that was scheduled to air on 10/29 sounds an awful lot like a Halloween episode...

You're right! That means we'll see a Halloween ep AFTER Halloween.

Ugh. Oh well, at least it's KR! At least after that we won't need to worry about KR being postponed due to elections because (gladly) the elections will be over with by then. WHEW!

Michael Knight for President?
Sucks that the Halloween episode has to be aired after Halloween, especially considering the premise that this episode would bring in something quite enteresting (IIRC GST said this was one of the episodes to watch).
