If you look closely, you can see they are using the same type of syringe with the mysterious yellow liquid from the premier episode.... just a thought... the folks with the syringe were looking for Mike Tracer, and this quick flashback is of Mike Tracer.....hmmmmmmm

That looks like some of the "darker" footage that NBC didn't want on the show via Mike's flashbacks. Interesting!

new to this forum, but i'm getting into this show, and have to agree with goldbug above. I read a version of the pilot script that had a bunch of flashbacks in them -- and yet none of the flashbacks were in the show. but they did get put online in that "data dump" I like to call it. I asked a friend who works at NBC (one of the beauties of living in Burbank) about it, and he says that NBC has vetoed an entire storyline about Mike's past because it was a "too dark" and that the show's producers are now using the internet to continue telling that story instead. I definitely hope NBC doesn't veto this too.
Just cause it's a show in the family hour, doesn't mean us adults can't get a little more out of it!

All the hype about this website from the fans and that's it. One word sums it up. LAME.

Right now it is kind of lame but they can still improve, the site has just been launched, let's wait and see if they really make it worthwhile, I like to give everybody the benefit of a doubt...

I'm not saying it can't and won't improve, and believe me I will give it a chance. I've been a Knight Rider fan since I was a little boy, and am thrilled to death the show is back in a fashionable form. I was just expecting something more then just that from the web site thats all I meant

...somewhat non-eventful, but I'm hopeful for more. I'd like to see some cheesy little games where you're Kitt and have to dodge missiles or something.

Or maybe have personnel files and include the real Bonnie and Devon.

Seeing commercials for My Own Worst Enemy (didn't watch the online premiere) anyone think there's a chance NBC also wanted it cut because it's something possibly similar to what they're doing on that show. Same with Chuck using the wrist communicator and it not showing up in KR, though that might just be due to an "advancement" in KR technology.

In my experience it seems that if network execs find something they like they stick with it, even if its in other shows. I'm guessing it is because of the time slot they intended it for. Though I actually didn't find My Own Worst Enemy to be as dark as I was expecting.
I had said back at the BDP that I didn't want them to turn KR too dark so i guess as they say be careful what you wish for. But nonetheless I think that they can raise the stakes a bit without turning dark.

Maybe perhaps this is what we can look forward to with the next upcoming episodes. It'll definitely bring a change of pace to the past couple of episodes & really give a unique twist to the series & mythology of the man known as "Micheal Knight".
