TRICK OR TREAT – HALLOWEEN TURNS DEADLY WHEN A TECH IS MURDERED INSIDE KNIGHT INDUSTRIES HEADQUARTERS -- An infiltrator murders a tech inside Knight Industries headquarters and the team must find them before they kill again. Meanwhile, Mike (Justin Bruening) and Sarah (Deanna Russo) are stuck on a flight during a storm and must try to stop KITT (voiced by Val Kilmer) before he self-destructs. Sydney Tamiia Poitier, Paul Campbell, Yancey Arias and Bruce Davison star. Smith Cho recurs.

(Sigh) I'm really not interested in that one.

The part that's really interesting me is the "KITT self destructing" thing. Wonder what that's all about?

So is Knight Industries Headquarters the SSC or no?

I guess we can always hope the dead employee is that silly geek women in the SSC that never seems to actually do anything except tease the other geek.

KI3T self-destructing?Maybe he was close to the person who got killed,and it disturbs him badly?Maybe he feels that he failed to protect the person and he doesn't feel like he deserves to live?It might be one of the events that lead up to the KILLER KI3T situation?

I (voiced by Val Kilmer) am very intrigued by this plotline. Meanwhile, I’m wondering if it is Zoe (Smith Cho) who is murdered, Smith is only a recurring character… Hummm. I’m guessing it’s not her though. Oh and Mike, (Justin Bruening) is very cute.

I'd imagine that it won't be a regular, just some random person who works there.

Hmm well. Kill off Zoe and show some skin of her being naked while doing so, I believe that will boost the ratings through the roof. Though Billy definitely wouldn't like that one... (hint: if you see the cast, everyone else even including Paul Campbell is billed as starring while only Smith Cho is being billed as a recurring guest star).

Okay, so we basically know that Smith Cho is probably being paid per episode vs. an annual salary situation like the shows other stars because of the guest star vs. starring in the credits.

You know the KI2T seemed to get destroyed and rebuilt at least once a season, he lost his memory when he got jolted by a downed power line, he was hacked into in at least a few episodes (at least once by a geeky kid), Michael damaged his Alpha circuit towing another car, he was almost completely destroyed in a vat of toxic waste, and most of his circuits went out when he landed in a swamp.

For me part of the fun of the show was KITT being rebuilt and upgraded in the process.

Yeah, throw KI3T into a toxic waste for once, I want to see that. Or make a tie-in with Heroes and see if KITT can withstand a nuclear explosion or not. That would be quite interesting....

Off-topic Note:
Heroes Season 3 Episode 4 was "I Am Become Death".
Maybe somehow we can make something called "Trans Am Become Death" or something.

Unless NBC mess with the running order again, I don't think it's Zoe that gets killed. She is scheduled to appear in later episodes

Just as long as they don't have floating green heads in the bathroom, I'm sure it will be okay...

Yeah but not at all during the first season, right???? I mean, after that, yeah, but the first season built up his being so completely indestructible.

Not really. K.I.T.T. was always presented as being "virtually indestructible", and the writers were kept busy finding lots of different ways to weaken/damage him, even during Season 1. Here are a few examples:

Pilot Episode/ Knight of the Phoenix: he was dented by the collision with the airplane
Deadly Maneuvers: The Alpha Circuit, and the threat of the missiles ("Can we take a direct hit?" "We don't want to find out")
Slammin' Sammy's Stunt Show Spectacular: Bonnie tells Michael that the muffler's shot, after the bomb went off under K.I.T.T.
Just My Bill: Missiles again (from the bad guy in the helicopter, same quote as before )
Trust Doesn't Rust: The threat of K.A.R.R., and the laser could deplete K.I.T.T.'s batteries.
The Final Verdict: K.I.T.T. is briefly "intoxicated" while using the Microwave Jammer
A Plush Ride: K.I.T.T. "may" survive falling off the cliff.
Chariot of Gold: Reprogrammed by Bonnie to kill Michael Knight.

If we was completely invulnerable, you wouldn't really have any stories -- there'd be no threat to the characters, and that wouldn't be very interesting to watch.
