Just watched ep.2

I enjoyed this second episode much more than the first. I think it felt like something more in tune with the original series where Michael is on a mission in some remote part of the country trying to get his way in to some wild scene undercover. I also liked that there was a bit more focus on interaction between KITT and Michael. As I've said before I feel like this should always be the main relationship of the show. Damn the haters, I'm still liking Kilmer's KITT. There were also a lot of little touches that simply felt more like Knight Rider. Keep em comin! Looks like they improved on the light effect for KITTS voice. Kudos!
I think this may also be the first time I enjoyed Sarah's character at all. I can't put my finger on it but I think it may just be that she was just better written in this episode. Though the Gloria Steinem line was a bit forced. She's a modern woman, really we get it. I also liked the pit crew better in this ep. They were used sparringly but effectively.
I still say the overall supporting cast could use a trim and as a case in point, having no scenes with Rivai was a welcome relief and made things work SOOO much better.
I still think we need to narrow it down to one Devan type where right now we basically have 2 (the elder Graiman and Torres) and one pit crew person besides Sarah herself and this will be tight.
Action was good. I guess the premise of the episode helped in that regard. Lots of good racing and use of KITTS abilities. The holographic display on his actual hood was kinda weird but I can deal with it. The device in the backseat that is basically like a replicator I'm not sure about. It's like having a replicator from TNG that can make anything. Seems like this would be a little over the top.
All in all, fun episode and if it is an indication of what's to come then I think this could be a fun ride.
Work on that damn theme though! You've got exactly the first half of a very good thing there!
