Saw this article in a UK Free paper

Looks like this time around the new KR is getting a lot more publicity globally...
Just imagine if Sarah Graiman had chosen that particular day to wear her "Bridget Jones" pants...

At the bottom of the article theres a "quote" from David Hasselhoff sounding unimpressed saying "It was like Indiana Jones without Indiana Jones..."
That seems a bit of a daft thing to say if he is in talks with the current makers to have a role in the show at some point in the future....

The Hoff probably said that years ago.

So the quote came from before GST's involvement???

It was from a radio interview that he did a few months back with a Phoenix station where he was talking about his daughter going to college in that area, IIRC.

Another newspaper over here, a more popular, but somewhat trashier daily, The Sun,
has also featured a few short articles about the new Knight Rider, even pointing out
that only viewers in the US have allowed to see it so far.
The first article from earlier this year, after the pilot TV movie was preniered . . .
The Sun Online - Knight Rider returns to USA
Two articles were published this week about the first episode of the new series . . .
The Sun Online - New Knight Rider is pants
The headline isn't a criticism, but a reference to Mike and Sarah having to strip off to
prevent themselves being burned to death. The main picture in the article speaks for
itself, showing Mike and Sarah unconscious and in a state of undress!
The Sun Online - Hot Knight out
The screengrabs in the article look to me like they're sourced from an illicit download!
Again the main picture in the article show the lead characters wearing not very much!
