I found a blooper in Blind Spot

While watching Blind Spot again, I came upon a blooper.
At the beginning Micheal goes to the store to pick up something from a guy. He parks KITT in front of a Bug car with the stripe, (herbie wannabe?)Then there is the shooting-then Micheal takes off and then as he is driving down the road-and that same beetle is RIGHT BEHIND HIM on the other side of the road. How did that car get to be behind KITT when the owner of the beetle was still shopping in the store???

I know I am going away with this beetle thing again-but I just love looking for bloopers!!!

Hey you know the bug car with the stripe could have been a joke. Elyssa Davalos who played the blind women Julie in that episode was in “Herbie Goes Bananas”

And when it was a herbie wannabee, it's not completely impossible that the bug drove by itself

Also in Blind Spot when Michael is knocked out and dumped into Kitt at the junk yard, why does Kitt just sit there and let the folk lift scoop him up?
he appeared to have a clear escape route.

i've been watching the early episodes on scifi. one big blooper i've noticed is when kitt leaves the semi. sometimes he is pointed outwards (i.e. backed in), but when the camera switches to him leaving the semi, he is pointed the other way. i KNOW there isnt a 'flip the other way' button on that dash :)

Hmm.. I don't think I have EVER seen KITT backed in... Gonna have to watch some more eps...

Well, he isn't technically backed in, but they show him pointing towards the door. There is a thread around here somewhere that goes into detail about one particular one that just came up recently.

Yeah, it is an old site that evolved into the Knight Rider Legacy book later on. It's inconsistencies came from another list before it on the net.

But since it's author can't defend anything we say about it on the board as of the present, we do need to tread lightly with that particular link. (If you have questions on it, please email me or one of the other moderators.)

Thanks for the link. As you may know, it's difficult to find informative KR sites online. The only two I have in my favorites are this one and Knight Rider Archive. Lots of fan-fic though. Wish I had more time to read them.

There is also:

http://www.teamknightrider.com
http://www.knightriderreturns.com

The ones that scroll on top...not all of them are fan fic either. Ya just have to look!

I remember seeing the herbie look alike scene. We all know the clips were reused in the series.Kitt drove down the same roads and so on.The one I remember the most is the one seen in deadly maneuvers. It was reused like 3 or 4 times..I do remember a clip before or after with the same herbie look alike. Not sure if it's before or after but that footage was definatly used twice.

I remember the episode where kitt gets thrown into that acid pit, and when they pull him out of the it, and put him on the trailer you can see a set of keys dangling in the ignition. Didn't kitt have a push button starter?? :(

Well.. we've gone over this in another post.. but I beleve he has both.. the the key is like a kill switch.. without it you can't push the button to start him.. unless KITT doesn't want you too. :)

Sorry I am new here, and haven't looked though all the threads yet.
